Thanks - The probem I see is that Sarmatian people, when they were powerfull, involved lots of tribes in central Europa and for some time - Alani too. I suppose at the time when Alani attacked Rome joining Vandals, Suebi and Burgundians (406) and participated in The Battle of Chalons, AD 451 in France against Attila and later in Danube war together with Ants - they were known to be single Alani people - the V age. So the Alani troops traveled crossing Ukraina to the Rome empire, France and Danube region - not far from Volyn
