Do you suppose prussian lithuanians were so well isolated by the prussian border that they forgot/became unaware of lithuanians and Lithuania nearby ? Well, you are wrong in that case.

Yea of course they were well aware about the existence of Zemaitians and frequently had personal contacts with them. Yet they clearly saw their distinctness from catholic Zemaitians. If you want texts read please "Vilius Karalius" of Simonaityte.
