| Sveiki,
Taigi skaitau William Urban "The Prussian Crusade" (anglu kalba) ir randu, kad lietuviai padejo prusams per ju didiji sukilima (1260-1274) keturiais momentais:
1. 1262: Treniota su Svanu isiverzia i Mozurija, nuzudo kunigaikti Ziemowit, ir nusiauba Kulma.
2. "In 1263 King Mindaugas and Treniota sent Lithuanian raiding parties into Culm, Masovia, Sandomir, and even Kujavia" (p. 294)
3. "In early 1264 Treniota had turned his personal attention to Prussia, taking there a force that Peter von Dusburg estimated at thirty thousand - a traditional figure meaning too many to count. [...] Before crossing the frontier he divided his army into three bodies, sending one to south into Masovia, one north to Pogesania, and leading the other personally into Culm. The invasion provoked the Pomesanians and Pogesanians to join the insurrection. The inability of the crusading order to offer even the slightest resistance to the invansion so discredited it in the eyes of the natives that now even the least and most cautious of the tribes dared to rebel." (p. 302)
4. 1265: "Too late the Lithuanians realized that the war in Samland had been lost. They tried to recover that land by driving the crusaders from their strategic base at Wehlau. They made a determined attack for eight days, using large stone-throwers to batter the walls. Those were new weapons in Prussia, although they had been used in Livonia for a helf-century already, but they were not able to overpower the machines used used by the defenders. An archer killed the Lithuanian leader [...]. It was the last important Lithuanian intervention in the insurrection." (p. 307)
Kuo galima tiketi ir kuo ne? Zinau, kad pirmas yra teisingas. O kaip su kitais?
