Random quote: "Dar ir šiandien mes mėgstame pasididžiuoti garsiąja lietuviška tolerancija, kuri betgi pražudė imperiją ir vos nepražudė pačios tautos." Vytautas Alantas (1902 - 1990)

Kliedesiai? Tiesiog nežinote ką sakote. Keletas faktų:
Ramygala.
"Mano senelis, pavarde Mirvis, miestelyje turėjo mažą parduotuvėlę. Dabar ji vadintusi „supermarketu“. Bet visą mūsų giminę, prieš įžengiant vokiečiams, išžudė vietiniai - sudegino parduotuvę, namus, pasidalijo arklius. "

Lygumai.
Nisn knows that among the Lithuanian murderers who robbed, tortured and eventually took active part in the shooting of the Jews of Lygumai were the following:
1. Antanas and Jonas Cuberkas, two brothers, both farmers.
2. Povilas Milvidas, who lived in Pakruojis road, half a kilometer from Lygumai.
3. Jurgis Jerashunas, a farmer from the village Veberiu.
4. Petraitis, the leader of the partisans in Lygumai.
5. Kazhys Siders, a farmer.

The Lithuanians themselves took the initiative to be responsible for the handling of the Jews. The Police Commander was Sintauris, previously a Lithuanian Border Guard Officer.
Also amongst the first activists was the priest Biliatzkaus and many other respected Lithuanians. The Jews who had coIlected at the police station were locked up at the stable of Itzhak Kapuler and in the storerooms of Aba Kahn, Saul Giresh and Leib Bar. There they were cruelly tortured. The beards of the respected Jews of the town were cut off and for many days in the hot days of early July they were left without food or water.

On this day they brought out all the remaining Jews numbering about 700 to the Atkotzyunai forest and there they opened fire on them until 1pm. These murders were the special activities of the following Lithuanians - the 3 sons of the chemist Jasutkaitls, Sintauris Januskaism and Simonatas, the brothers Jonais and Popilais Stumbris, and the brothers Tarashka, Jasaivitzios and others.

Here it is worth mentioning an interesting fact on whether or not the Posvol Lithuanian city government officially took part in exterminating the Jews of the Posvol ghetto. They debated and discussed the matter exactly as if it concerned paving a little bit of street with cobblestones or handling dog license fees and they decided, yes, murder them all!
The names of the following Lithuanian hooligans who especially "excelled" in violent deeds should be recorded for future generations and also perhaps for revenge. Petras Bieluskas and Veitkus (a shoemaker) came to loot the home of Leib Aizykovitch and killed his wife Beila Gitta. Strazdas Yuazas (a tailor) and Metskus beat people to death on the transports to Shavl. Ignats Ogentas, Gudas Leonas, Antanas Birkuskas, Yanas Vilimas, Visatskis and others inflicted atrocious tortures on Jews. They and still others killed approximately 1600 Jews from the beautiful communities of Posvol and approximately 300 dear Jews (many of them shot on the spot) from the surrounding shtetlach mentioned above.
