The Struters were the raiders of the Wildnis that extended between the state of the Teutonic Order and Lithuania. They also served as scouts and were the informants for the Wegberichte.
Their existence makes it very unlikely that the Wildnis was inhabited as Russian-Lithuanian historians claim.

Who were The Struters? Never heard of such name. It reminds the word- strutter- however, it is probably not related.
