I am wondering how this word found its way into the neo-Lithuanian language. It is derived from the German "Wunderkinder" = child prodigies.
It is not in the Prussian-Lithuanian dictionaries. When was it borrowed from German and how did it escape Jablonkis' linguistic cleansings?
Is there a singular form?
