Italians inheritet lithuanian patronimic suffixess from ostrogoths and gepids. In spanish gothic patronimic suffixes are detectable to:

Lithuanian - Italian -spanish
-aitis -atti -ado
-ytis -etti -edo
-otis -otti -odo
-utis -utti -udo
-ucis -uzzi
-onis -oni -onso

Now we must rewrite the history of Romance philology.
