As a matter of interest were there any children from Daniel's second marriage?
Shvarno's sister Pereyaslava is an ancestor of the present British Royal family and is also a descendant of King Harold and possibly going back to the first Anglo Saxon Kings. (Gytha's link back to the first Anglo Saxon Kings is debatable).
I find it strange that a deposed Anglo Saxon Princess with no lands or money married a Prince of Keiv. Perhaps it was to forge an alliance with Denmark. Anglo Saxon women held land and money in their own right and Gytha's mother Edith Swan Neck was a very wealthy lady. All that would have been forfeit after the Normans came.
