Random quote: "Kitos tautos, mūruose, uolose užsirakinusios, vos ne vos išgelbėjo savo liuosybę, lietuviai ir žemaičiai, gyvendami giriose ir laukuose, mokėjo ja ilgą laiką džiaugtis ir nuo visų baisiausių savo neprietelių saugoti viena savo narsybe ir kantrybe." Simonas Daukantas, "Istorija žemaitiška" (1837)

Thanks very much for the look up. His family will be very interested in this information. Thank you. Just as a matter of interest this man operated with John Millar's father. John Millar wrote "The Lithuanian's in Scotland". He also received a grant to research a book about book smugglers.

John Millar speaks two min's into the programme.
